I can’t remember exactly where we were when we stopped at this rest stop. We were taking a day trip down the coast from Mendocino, California, so it was somewhere between Mendocino & Gualala.

Hard to tell from the photo, but are those Monterey Cypress trees which have been limbed? At first, the trunks looked like Eucalyptus.
The photo reminds me of a long row of Eucalyptus trees I saw near Eureka, on my Portland to Avenue of Giants trip this year.

You could be right. I really don’t know what kind of trees they were. I just thought they were beautiful. We loved visiting Oregon too. Thanks for visiting my site.
